COCO CHANEL:The woman who was (and is) everywhere

In the early ’30s, Coco Chanel noticed the sunburst metalwork running along the balcony of her apartment at the Ritz hotel in Place Vendôme. By 1932, Paris fashion was burning for her interpretation of the emanating rays, which she worked into all sorts of fine jewelry and continued to elaborate on until her retirement. Now, Chanel is debuting a collection based on her iconic sun design, from oval-cut diamond rings that refract light outward to geometric cuffs reminiscent of Coco’s own adored Verdura versions.
